The Bellevue Union School District has been a pioneer for quality education since it was first established in 1856. The
current Bellevue Union School District first opened its doors in 1949 and has been proud to offer the very best in
elementary education ever since. Currently, there are more than 1,200 students attending Bellevue Union School District. Our
educational programs within the District are supported by specialist teachers in subject areas ranging from reading, math,
special education and bilingual education, among others. Each school also provides a computer laboratory, outdoor life
laboratory, counseling program, Gifted and Talented Education Program and library. We strongly believe that our programs
prepare our students for their continuing education and welcome parents as major partners in the development of a child's
full potential.
The Bellevue District is one of the largest K-6 elementary school districts in the county. It is comprised of Bellevue
Elementary, Kawana Elementary and Meadow View Elementary. Taylor Mountain Elementary is currently under
construction and is expected to open in the fall of 2007.
